n recent times, the increasing number of earth observation satellites and free satellite image sources for environmental research purposes and mitigation of damage caused by natural disasters has made the satellite image data warehouses of geospatial research agencies and organizations increasingly diverse in types and large in capacity. The need to access data and work remotely has gradually replaced direct access methods. Satellite images often have a wide spatial coverage and large size, so online access and visualization also creates some challenges for large satellite image data repositories. In this paper, the authors propose a data architecture model based on the Hadood distributed platform that combines software frameworks and open database management systems, and at the same time build a Web service that allows visualization of satellite image data over the Internet in near real-time mode.
