The Magazine of Geodesy – Cartography applies a clear copyright and licensing policy to all scholarly articles published by the journal.

Copyright

Authors retain the copyright to their published articles. By submitting a manuscript to the journal, authors confirm that they have the right to publish the work and authorize the journal to publish the article as the first publisher.

The authors are responsible for ensuring that the submitted manuscript does not infringe the copyright or other rights of any third party.

License

All published articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), unless otherwise stated.

Under the CC BY 4.0 license, readers may:

  • Share and redistribute the published material in any medium or format;
  • Adapt, remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial purposes;

provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s), the article title, the journal, and the source, and that a link to the license is provided.

Author Rights

Authors retain the right to share, disseminate, and reuse their published work in accordance with the terms of the CC BY 4.0 license.

The journal does not impose an embargo period on the sharing or reuse of published articles.

Third-Party Material
