RULES FOR SUBMITTING ARTICLES
MAGAZINE OF GEODESY - CARTOGRAPHY
1. Subject and Scope of Articles
The Journal of Geodesy and Cartography accepts high-quality, previously unpublished scientific articles in the following fields:
- Advanced geodesy and GNSS applications.
- Cartography, digital mapping.
- Remote sensing and remote sensing image applications.
- Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
- Geospatial, spatial data.
- Land management, surveying, cadastral surveying, technology in real estate.
- Fields related to Earth Sciences – Mining, Agriculture, Irrigation...
2. General Requirements for Articles
Articles must be original research products, previously unpublished in other journals.
Language of presentation: Vietnamese with diacritics, Times New Roman font, size 12, paper size 19x27 cm.
Total length of the paper: minimum 5 pages and no more than 20 pages; Each paper must include:
- Title (in Vietnamese and English).
- Abstract (in Vietnamese and English, each version no more than 500 words).
- Keywords: 3–6 keywords (in Vietnamese and English).
- Main content: Introduction; Data, research area; Research methods; Results and discussion; Conclusion.
- References: at least 10 references should be included, with full and proper citations. References should be original sources.

3. Figures, Tables, and Formulas
Images and maps must be clear, with a minimum resolution of 300 DPI, in PNG, JPG, or TIFF format.
Table and image titles should be numbered consecutively (Table 1, Table 2, Figure 1, Figure 2, ...), with a clear title above, font size 10, italicized, and using Times New Roman font.
Formulas should be numbered sequentially, centered, and can be created using MathType or Equation.
4. References
Arrange in order of appearance in the article and number [1]…[2]….[3,4], ... [8-11]… font size 10, using Times New Roman font.
Format according to IEEE standards; using software such as EndNote, Zotero or Mendeley is encouraged.

5. Peer Review and Publication Process
The editorial board will conduct a preliminary review and send the article to a blind (anonymous) reviewer; the author must revise the article according to the feedback and resubmit it with a detailed response. Articles that violate copyright, contain fraud, have false data, or contain incorrect citations will not be accepted.
If accepted, the article will be scheduled for publication in the next issue.
The entire process of receiving, reviewing, revising, and finalizing the manuscript is completed within no more than 8 working weeks.
