Abstract

Thai Binh City is the political, economic, social and cultural center of Thai Binh province with many favorable conditions for socio-economic development. In recent years, along with the development trend of the country, in order to meet the practical needs of the locality, infrastructure investment projects, along with projects serving security and defense work have been strongly implemented. Land acquisition for the purpose of national defense, security and socioeconomic development is very necessary. However, compensation, support and resettlement when the State acquires land still have many shortcomings, especially the work of determining the unit price of compensation, support and resettlement. This study focuses on evaluating the results of compensation, support and resettlement; thereby proposing solutions to help localities improve the effectiveness of compensation, support and resettlement when the State acquires land.
