Abstract

Foreign surveying and drawing work plays an important role in the field of geodesy, but the data collection process is still fragmented and inconsistent. This study builds and applies a WebGIS system to effectively support field work in field conditions. The system uses a PostgreSQL/PostGIS spatial database to store geographic data, combines HTML, CSS, JavaScript (leaflet) interfaces, and Node.js server processing. Tests in some field areas have shown that the system helps identify measurement points, track progress and coordinate teams flexibly, while contributing to reducing errors, saving time and manpower. The results show that WebGIS is a feasible solution in modernizing geodesy, especially in the context of increasing demand for digitization and spatial information management.
